Arike Ogunbowale

Arike Ogunbowale is the American basketball player with the Dallas Wings in the Women's National Basketball Association. She played basketball in college for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The Wings selected her as the fifth selection of the 2019 WNBA. Arike Ogunbowale was born on the 2nd of March 1997 in Milwaukee Wisconsin to parents Yolanda and Gregory Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale (26) and Dare Ogunbowale(20) are her brothers. Since she was the smallest of her siblings she was the most spoilt from her family. Ogunbowale took gold during the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championship, 2013 FIBA U17 World Championship, and 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championship. The 7th of July 2014 was the day she was named for the 2014 USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale also has been named to the ACC All-Freshman Team after her first season as a collegiate player. She was even congratulated by the legendary Kobe Bryant after she hit numerous big shots during the NCCA Tournament.
