April Lockhart
April Lockhart was born on July 4 1995 In seventh grade she began playing the guitar as well as taking piano lessons which ignited her love for songwriting. April Lockhart composed her very first song, Different at age of twelve. When she was 14 April was a huge devotee of time to writing song ideas and practicing her music. Over the next few months she would begin taking trips to write with her father on trips to LA in addition to NY. April was able to add other relevant topics into the song, such as the Take my Hand song for some acquaintances, including peer pressure impairments and even suicide among teenagers. Lockhart is a popular figure and is a lifestyle blogger with the well-known Ilia the Clean Beauty brand. She has a disability that is part of her persona, however it's not the complete story. In the end, Lockhart's profile does not shy away from the fact that she is disabled, but she doesn't focus on it either. What is the message? The message? We are all multifaceted, and that our bodies and identities are not all that they seem. It's not my intention to let that determine me. I do not want to be a disability influencer who only talks about since there are different aspects to me Lockhart shares her thoughts via video from her home in Nashville. My everyday life isn't impaired by the disability. I lead a normal daily life, and come up with my own solutions to issues. It's a big element of my life and it's imperative for us to speak about it. Self-acceptance runs for life however Lockhart truly inspires me on that front. Still, she admits going through various phases in relation to her body. She was uneasy about clothes which exposed her arms. Now, she dresses in whatever she wants. And she posts her photos on social media. Self-love, she says, can be described as a trip. "I do not think that you will ever be there," she said. It's a trip, but I'm sure that you never reach your destination. It's important to have people within your circle who understand and appreciate you. They will be able to remind you of what you are worried about.
